Ashlee Johnson
Ashlee was raised in St. Charles, earned a degree in Mass Communication from Lindenwood University and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree at Lindenwood in Non Profit Administration. Ashlee presently serves as the Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County, an ecumenical, Christian Housing ministry. Under her leadership, HFHSCC opened the first ever Habitat ReStore in St. Charles County, increased home building capacity and helped the affiliate to achieve a SILVER rating under the Green Building Initiative to provide healthier, more sustainable Habitat homes for families.
In addition to her career in nonprofit administration, Ashlee is a current member of the St. Charles Noon Day Rotary Club (www.stcharlesrotary.org) and will serve as a Rotary Club Board member with a focus on club community service this year. Ashlee is also a student of the current 2011 class of theVision St. Charles County Leadership program (www.visionleadership.org).
In 2008, Ashlee was one of the recipients of the “40 Professionals Under 40”Award and received a 2009 Dove Award for community enrichment, by the Saint Charles Business Magazine.
As the daughter of a talented music teacher, Ashlee has been singing since she was 5 years old, in various capacities and was in Show Choir in both high school and college. At First Baptist Church of Harvester (www.fbch.com), Ashlee sings with the FBCH choir and praise team and is a worship leader for Harvester Kidz children’s church.
She is a wife and mother, who attributes her passion to “help others” to her parents, who are her mentors and best friends.
