Jacqueline Severns
Jacqueline was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and attended Missouri Baptist University. During her college years, she traveled with MBU’s premier contemporary Christian vocal performance group, Spirit Wing, which gave Jacqueline the experience and passion to pursue the dream of continuing performance.
Upon graduation, with a degree in Music Education, Jacqueline went directly into the teaching profession in the Fort ZumwaltSchool District directing, producing and choreographing Middle School vocal performances. She also began teaching private piano lessons to a studio of 13 students.
When her daughter, Katherine, was born she decided to take a break from full-time work and took a part-time position as an Administrative Assistant. Jacqueline has since pursued this field working her way into an Executive Assistant role, with an emphasis in accounting and marketing.
When the work week is done, Jacqueline worships at First Baptist Church of Harvester (www.fbch.com), her church home. FBCH has also allowed her to utilize her musical abilities - leading worship with the praise team, assisting in children's choirs, and directing/producing the annual Kid’s Praise Night. She feels blessed to have established such wonderful relationships there, including those with her fellow Evidence members!
